Online not working in anything but tells if 30+ people online
« on: December 07, 2007, 03:22:53 am »
Having something funky going on I can't really figure out.  In a guild bot I run if there are 30 or fewer people on and you do an !online in guild chat it responds fine, but if there are more than 30 (this isn't an exact number, just near as I can figure based on what I've seen) it won't respond to the online command in anything but a tell.  All other commands still respond normally.  Running version 4.3

Anyone have any ideas?

I'll have to track this down. Sounds strange.

Are that 30+ characters on the buddy list of the bot? Or 30+ total using the OtherBots setting?

I just did a quick test using OtherBots, and had no problems getting 50ish characters to show up on online in any channel.

EDIT: Just did a test in an org bot, added 40+ online characters to notify, didn't have any problems with the output.

In my case they were on the buddy list of the bot ... unfortunately I can no longer test as the current Org i'm in doesn't have 30+ online.  So I will leave it up to Dabaron for more information or a testing ground.

Next time I see 30+ on I'll log the character in and see if they are all on his buddy list.
