Raidmodule with predefined setups.
« on: July 09, 2007, 11:45:42 pm »
I was thinking of making a raidmodule for Biodome, Mercs, HI and the Alien Play Fields. Perhaps also over time Pande, (if RK2 clan pande zerg goes straight to hell and becomes the total FFA anarchy it is heading towards....  :( )
I want something like the menu system for T2 raids but with different setups/loot tables depending on what we are raiding and was wondering if anyone had some tips on how to attack this.

Reqs:
Separate loottables for the different raids
 Stored in the DB.
Auto roll in 30sec after item is clicked in window/menu
 T2 raid like menus

Tips and hints are most welcome :)

Instead of making discreet plugins (or one plugin with many different commands and such), I would suggest making a generic plugin that covers them all.

For example, to handle loot simple give them the ability to 'register' certain types of loot with a certain catagory (IE: !loot register <item> <category>).  Then people can customize whatever style of raid they want, with whatever loot they want.
