Multi-dimensional !online
« on: January 13, 2007, 12:03:29 am »
I run a chat bot on both RK1 and RK2 and they are "connected" through an IRC channel. I have the "IRC" module working on both bots. What I would like to do is have the ability to do an !online either when logged into RK1 or RK2, and get a response (through the irc channel) of the people online not only on my current dimension, but on the IRC channel as well as the opposite dimension. Now I'm sure this is possible, I just have no idea where to start. Any thoughts?

Use/make an "online" database then just let the bots query the database and you get who's online.

There's a bunch of other ways, this is the first that came to mind :P
