Hi guys,

Thought this was the best place for the post... maybe some of you guru's know how this is done and can shed some light on it.

I see these guys can pull data from characters that I think would be cool to know being leaders of a guild (equipments, kills, PvP, trades etc). I also presume its require a real logged-in character sort of bot and not a bot of the type that bebot is, maybe someone can confirm how this likely works?

In any case, would someone know what would be required for this or have similar scripts? Would love to pick up some of these details for further use if it would be possible of course... comments welcome!

Just from a cursory look i would say that it seems most likely that the data is being collected from players running a program written to capture either the network traffic or memory of the running client. So multiple players would be collecting the data for each server. However that is just my guess as I'm not familiar with Age of Conan.

I think Khalem is right, considering the comments posted in the linked forum.

They seem to use some kind of memory reading on a full game client. And yes, I think that requires a full game login.

I actually highly doubt that this requires a full game client, assuming what you mean is an actual logged in character.

why not scrape the data from yg, it would be very handy to see stats on each member of your guild via the bot. You could even pull some links from the items database.
