Using bot on host?
« on: April 04, 2008, 12:39:08 am »
Well, I was wondering...Would there be a way to let a online host run your bot?

If so, are you guys familiar with any methods?

To use the bot on a web host you need

A secure shell or telnet login account
Privileges to use PHP cli-versrion
Privileges to use MySQL database
I would recomend also having privileges to run screen even if you can make it work without it.

You can not and should not attempt to run this bot without prior spesific authorization if you want to run this on a web host.

You SHOULD NOT have your bot within the document root of a web server.

The only problem that can't be solved by adding another wrapper is having too many wrappers.
