when attempting items i get the following error on my bot.

Code: [Select]
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
Vhab's site down that stores the DB?

Major server outage atm. Linux took a major crap and is well, dead.
Booting is one big steaming pile of sigfaults.
This is probebly going a while. Got all the backups I need, but rebuilding  the server is gonna take time.
I blame linux entirely. Should have known better and run windows.

No operatingsystem is better than the operator of the system.

Separate filesystem for boot, root, usr, home and var and you'd be in much better shape me thinks.
The only problem that can't be solved by adding another wrapper is having too many wrappers.

Wouldn't have made much of a difference. All the data was safe, the system was just fubar.
Moving the data was the easy part, but setting up a new server took some time. And I also took this as an oppertunity to try some new software.
No idea what went on on the server, but it crashed like a card house. Pretty much everything was affected.
I stopped looking after a while, but I managed to narrow it down to something dodgy going on between the VMWare scsi interface and this specific kernel.

dunno if it's just me, but i seems to not find the new items in the db(getting it from the vhab server). Sutch as items from the new dustbrigade instance.

Anyone else have the same thing?

As the output blob says: Database Version: 17.7.1_EP1 Live

We'll get the new items if/when Vhab gets around to update the DB.

This is the exact type of issue which lead to me wanting to have a mirror of the online items database in the first place.

Any chance of being able to arrange it Vhab?

I think i read somewhere that vhab is no longer gonna have time to watch over his stuff and is looking to transfer maintainance and hosting to someone else.
