So... my original fiddling with bots has finally come to haunt me. A long while back I installed my bebot onto what I thought was going to be a character that was just going to sit.
Then the account became upgraded.

I was curious if anyone knew of a backway to tell the bot to use the already created databases and create all further databases as oldbot_module when it creates them.

My meddlings in the core of the bot have not always had pleasant effects so I was curious if someone could spare me the migraines :D

Why do I want to do this?  Spare people !alts add'ing again, resource database ran through bebot (still beta and later you all can hack it and such :P), as well as a social epeen module record for points.  I could tell the modules to access the oldbot_database by editting out all of the #___module into oldbot_module, but not only is this a bit painstaking but there might be an easier way to just... oomph it over >.>

Until someone gets a brilliant idea (as you tend to do) I'll manually edit some of my customs to cooperate with the oldbot_database and the ones that fight back will just have to be left as blank >.>

I believe you can set what botname to use for the db in the mysql file and it will read from the old db. It should be under the database table prefix and Master prefix table in the mysql file for the bot.

Well, then.... That was sickeningly easy o.o..... Thank you intensely, Diablo! For some reason I hadn't considered checking inside the mysql.conf .  Props to whoever added that into the .conf's a while back :D

I'm still in shock, though.... hours of work solved by replacing one word, removing a comment mark, and a restart... <3 Bebot

Long Live Bebot!

Props?? What ever happened to cookies? o.O
The only problem that can't be solved by adding another wrapper is having too many wrappers.
