started with a fresh install for 0.4 for this raid bot

created a script to "/tell bot member add name" all the members of the old bot

Go to do biodome yesterday and

/massinv biodome

results in no massinv being sent to any members. same with announce

I go through settings and turn massin and announce on, and for members to get them

"/massinv biodome" again reseults in nothing. It says sending invite, 1/2 second later it's done, and no one got the invite. Same, again, for !announce

What am I missing?

its prob the user setting
/tell bot set
and click on member i think
altho i think u might have to manualy change all the member u got so far

I think this might have been overlooked, but not sure.

Sounds like a bug to me.

I was running 3 for the longest time, and it appears that A LOT has changed in 4, at least behind the sceens.

I don't fully understand the notify portion of the settings gui, but if i enable notify for memebers and enable autoinv and announce, THEN add members, massinv, etc work.

If I add members first, then play with settings, it appears that massinv, etc do not work, even if turned on and off 50 times.

So I got it working by configuring the bot first, then adding members.

That's actually the way it's supposed to work, those settings can only influence any members that are added later. Otherwise it could mess with manually set notifies or autoinvite states, which wouldn't be nice.
