Problem
« on: December 19, 2006, 11:13:12 am »
Hi guys

Couple months ago my server died and i lost all my bebot info, had a guildie run IGN bot while my server was down, Ive now got space on a shell with sql support so was going to reinstall bebot

But i cant seem to find the items.sql file for database the 16.01 link in forum dont work for me.

I read somewhere in forum that the file is not needed. But how do i set up the database?

if someone can email updated items.sql   - [email protected]

Thanks

All newer versions of Bebot (from 0.2.4?) are using Vhab's central items database as default, there is no need to set up your own local items database.

you still need the mysql database for the bot itself to run.
but you don't need to do anything special to get the items db running.
though, while the items db currently shipped works fine, the more updated version is located at: http://bebot.link/index.php/topic,380.0.html
that version will also be included in feature releases (if someone with svn access could commit it please :P)
