Author Topic: Anyone run a bot on Wiccana? (Read 4091 times)

I'm having difficulty getting my bot to start up after yesterday's server-merges. I've been moved from Thog -> Wicanna.

What worked before the merge, updating the Bot.conf file and putting "Wiccana" in the dimension, I get an error:
AOChat: No characters found on the account

How can I turn on debugging so I can see what it's doing or a print of all the variables in use at the time of the error?

I'm running on Linux. The bot worked 2 days ago before the merges. No other configuration changes have occured.

I'm getting the same error.

Does it have something to do with guild names having [ ] in them?

right now my tag is

Guildname [Thog]

is that whats giving the bot this trouble? it can't find the correct guild? if so how can i fix this?

For you, that might be a problem. For me, it's not that. We do not have [Thog] in our guild name.

Can you log into your char and successfully talk in guild chat (your bot char)

Yes. And I didn't have a char name change. Mine is good.

I'll try to get more info when I get home from work. about 1.5 hrs from now.

Try this i think it will help seems like a lot of issues after merge

1. Boot bot from guild
2. Relog bot char make sure that guild chat isnt there
3. Reinvite bot to guild
4. Log and try bebot connection

when you get home of course
