Hi all,

Can/are you suppose to be able to group with the bot in AoC version ?

I've not had luck in getting it to work and wondering if there are specific commands/strategy.

I'd like to have the bot join in our group so that specific text that it says will go to the group chat. Is/should this be possible with the current version?

the bot only connects to the chat server, the character is not online in game

Ok. However I am talking in the sense of the chat group channel. Is that not what the raid bot approach is, just joined into the raid channel?

The raid channel is only created when you form a raid. The problem is, you cannot invite a bot to the raid, because it isn't in-game.

I have talked to Tarib about this problem, and he mentioned to me that once RotG is out and settled, that is something they may look at, as it would be a valuable feature to have a private chat channel.

That would open up a lot more possibilities for AoC bots in general.
