Author Topic: AoC bot not working in guildchat (Read 4461 times)

I am running Vista 64, Bebot 6.3, PHP 5.3, MYSQL 5.1 and have a bot on the Wiccana US server of Age of Conan. I finally got my bot back up and running but it doesn't monitor guild chat or update the roster or even speak in guild chat in any way. My character that is the owner can manually add members and then it works perfectly in tells but will not respond to commands in guild chat or post anything in guild chat. Any ideas?

When I run !rosterupdate this is the output:

I know this will not help in solving your problem but I'm having the same problem with my bot on Wiccana.

If anyone wants me to provide any info that may help fix the problem let me know. I would love to have my bot working again.

Please post the full output of your bot console window from start to finish when starting up the bot.

Somehow it just all of a sudden started working without me changing anything...oh well sorry I can't say why

I've seen this as well - and it actually is your character/bot that looses the guildchannel on the chatserver.
You get it back after a chatserverrestart (patch) or log in that character in aoc and subscribe to the guildchannel again.

In Anarchy Online, the guild channel doesnt actually exist per say until there is someone actually logged ingame in the guild. Im assuming the same is true for AoC. However BeBot should automatically pick up the correct name once someone logs in.

But it's possible this has gotten messed up somehow with 1.05
