Looks like cidb.xyphos.com finally sank.

Changed my  modules/ao/Items.php around line 46:

    var $color_normal = 'CCF0AD';
    // var $server = 'http://cidb.xyphos.com/';     //  original line
    var $server = 'http://cidb.botsharp.net/';       //   new botsharp server line
All is well so far now using the botsharp server.
