Author Topic: AOC Bebot Roster not updating (Read 8082 times)

The bot is online. I am set to Owner and SuperAdmin.

Not even I can access the bot, it says that I am not a member.

As I watch the bot try to update the roster it adds 0.

What could be the problem?

roster update will not add people in AoC as there is no source for it to get the info from
that why the module that add people as they talk in guild was made

ok... So I am guessing that I do not have this module installed or something.

I will look for it, but am still unsure as to why the bot does not recognize me either. I am superadmin and owner.

More about starting the bot..

I am only able to start it with startdebugbot.bat, don't know if this is a problem.

If I click Startbot.bat nothing happens except for a blank DOS window.

If i do php startbot.php I get the following and it hangs.

Right click the folder and click Update
this is asuming the folder is a SVN project (you used svn to get it)
and asuming u checked out the correct location

OK.. I actually did not originally update with SVN.. I will work on this later.

I did find a post where you linked a new startbot.php on Nov 23rd. I copied that one and pasted it, and it works.

Logging in now to see if it will let me communicate with it.

startbot.php will not fix all ur issues
you should get 0.6.1

I just DL'd the zip for 0.6.1 again and installed over the old files.. NOW IT WORKS.. !!

It still doesn't notice people that log in and out.. I guess I have to add individually.

My bot doesn't say anything in guild chat.

I was also looking through some of the functions like Headlines.. It says to delete I should use the GUI.. there is a GUI?

I use Windows XP.

I also found your TWC web chat client and want to try to do something with that. Is there instructions somewhere to install it in Windows XP?
