No clue what happened to break both archives...
I'll fix the links when I get back from work. Until then please use Temar's file.

it could be related to the issue with attachment not being able to add and remove

Links changed to aofiles for the moment.

aofiles seems to be down (or not accessible from where I am) and TortoiseSVN gets a URL error when trying to import version 1733.

Can i use the same SQL tables?
Can i just copy&paste conf dir?
Can i just drag&drop the custom modules?

Any changes needed in tables are done automatically, not sure if there are any. This is one-way only though, so if there are changes in 0.5.3 there won't be any automatic way back to 0.5.2.
Your old config files should work without any change, the only additions are for AoC bots.
And all 0.5.2 modules should work under 0.5.3, there were no large structural changes which could affect them.

Added new and working 0.5.3 download link. At the moment I can only provide a zip file though, no tar.gz.
