Recruitment
Currently one of the biggest things in AoC is recruitment.

Commands:

Make it say "<Guild Name> is recruiting", which is a link, click on it opens a page. On the page is another link which does /tell bot !recruitment. To bring up a page with all the guild info.

Recruitment page uses a .txt file which the user has to customize for their guild.
Use Cron so the bot posts it to users set time.

Can detect when guild leader / officers are online and make it add a link to the bottom of the script, which sends a tell to the leader/officer for more information.

Hi, i just rewrote the rules module for this. I only play AoC. So i dont know if it works with AO.
First you must make a script in your conan script map

Save it there and call it adver.txt or something.

Change the botname and the guildname in the script. I just used my guild and bot.

Download this:

Rename it to info.php and put it in the custom/module folder.

In the file you have to change:
Enraged Messiahs Guild info. to your own guild name.

Download this:
http://www.enragedmessiahs.nl/download/info.txt
And put that in the txt folder. You have to change the info.txt file to your own needs, i just posted the advertice of my guild.

Now if you go to global chat and type /adver.txt you see the link, click on it and you get a tell from the bot that gives a link to your txt file.
