What are the physical requirements to run BeBot/MySQL?

I am looking to take over the management of my guild's bot, so I am getting a computer together to run it.  What I have is running Windows XP, has 2 GB of RAM, and a 30 GB hard drive.  I was talking to someone who is admin for another guild's bot, and he was saying I would probably need 50 GB of disk space.  Question...  can I use an external drive to install the Bebot and MySQL stuff on to?  Or must it be on the C: drive?

You can install MySQL on an external hard drive, but you may take a performance hit.  In any case, 30GB will be enough space if you aren't going to install anything else.

Getrix:
Have been running two bots for 4years or something on  a P4 3.2GHz, 2GB RAM and only been using 150MB in total (Bot code, logs and DB).
MySQL DB is about 2-3MB each bot.

So 500MB for one bot should be more then enough
