Hi guys, just started my bot on linux vps for my guild and almost everything working fine atm, one of my friends asked me if I can host bot for his small guild, and here is my question, How to create second bot on same server? Is that possible? Other thing I have problem with !items module, not sure what to do, there is no longer database to download, link is not active, or i need something else?
Thanks for reply.

What I do is create a new database in mysql and have the new bot point to that database. I also make a full directory copy of the bot files and start the new bot from that new copy.
Let me know if you need further details, don't have access to my files from here but can give some more detailed info this evening.

Thanks for reply.
But u running two bots simultaneously on same server? I mean game server - Crom for example.
and are you using linux machine as a bot server?

pm getrix in forums here
as well for the items module to work you will need a passkey from him for the items database(with bot name and server) to then do !settings items , and set up there wil tell you how to set up the passkey. well you may have to post to getrix in his items thread then pm for a passkey.
And like Yite said, set up on the linux server a new mysql database and user and different directory of bot files. Then start the bot like you have done yours.
I recently done it for a friend. I use putty and winscp. to access the server.

I can also confirm that you can run multiple bots on one single server.
I am currently hosting 17 bots for different people

I also run multiple bots on the same server... I use the same modules, just a different configuration file for each bot. saves on space and file maintenance.
My start script uses the following convention:
cd /home/bot/Orgbots; /usr/bin/php -f /home/bot/Orgbots/StartBot.php BotName 2>&1 > /dev/null &
In your bot directory/conf you should have something like:
Bot.conf.TEMPLATE
BotName.Bot.conf
BotName.Modules.ini
BotName.MySQL.conf
MySQL.conf.TEMPLATE
ServerList.php

I run different directories as some are guild bots (with their own ginfo), some are raidbots and some are gatherbots.
Running them all on a linux system each in their own screen.

Ok, Thanks for help guys, bot's seems to be working fine .
ATM I am using two separate directories, one for each bot, will do some changes later when have some more time. Thanks again.
