Title: Learning .NET, Mono, C#, etc.
Post by: Glarawyn on March 18, 2008, 11:42:49 pm
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for learning .NET/mono and C# when coming from a PHP and VB6/VB Script background.

Books, online stuff, IDEs, whatever.

the freebie c# ide from Microsoft includes some pretty clear tutorials in the help and news feeds, as does the pay version, if you already have it... otherwise, I recommend the 'Teach yourself in ##' series of books, I find them clear and reasonably straight forward
