I stumbled upon some info on Bebot 7/8. Is this still in development? If so, when will it be released?

I'm not dead.. promise.

Although I'd forgive anyone for thinking so.
My workload has spiralled as I have started working towards a bachelor degree in computer engineering. This, combined with becoming a father to a now 8 months old baby girl has caused me to neglect this project badly, for which I apologize.

The current code on launchpad for the 0.7 branch has been running for my AO guild's for many moons (about a year or so) and have not caused any blowups so far.
I'm not entirely certain it will convert 0.6 database properly, so if you do take it for a spin, be sure to back up your database first.

I'm going to try and post a proper update soon as I'm trying to find some time to nurse BeBot back on the right track again. Contributing to BeBot should become easier as well with a move from Launchpad (Bazaar) to Github and Git.

It won't get better any time soon. My daughter is two and a half now, and I spend nearly every free moment I can I spend with her. And it's wonderful. Eventually they grow out of the "my parents are the center of my world" phase, so enjoy every second while it lasts. Code while she's sleeping and you aren't.
