Title: Cron: Guild Script in Global Chat

Hi folks,

i found the Cron Module and asked myself, how to make it promote our Guild Script every hour into the global chat?

Code: [Select]

$this -> bot -> send_gc
is for the Guild Chat as far as i know.
Whats the command for Global Chat?

AND is it possible to use our existing guild script perhaps like

$this -> bot -> send_global(gscript.txt)
???

Automatic spamming of public channels by a bot usually leads to getting your account banned by FC. It's one of the few no-goes they established for bots.

Which is one of the reasons why there aren't any pre-defined functions to send output to public channels.

OK that makes sense.
But on the RageBot page i saw that there is some code for sending msg to public channels.

Other Question without opening another thread:

how to send sth to the Raid Channel? I have countdoun e.g...but in the Guild Chat it is not placed so good :)
