is it possible to check the server status of age of conan servers?

(not as a bot script but for a website)

yes, i want a server overview like http://www.ao-universe.com/main.php?link=serverstatus&site=tools

but for age of conan. any ideas how to do this?

i asked Waldgeist (German Community Manager) for an XML access or something to get the serverstatus. he told me there isnt a xml interface to get this informations, but he will talk to some developers to get that..
and he said, the aoc servers are behind a firewall, so we cant check the status without a xml file..

whats about the chatserver? is it online when the aoc server is down for an update/maintenance?

maybe we can try to connect to the chatserver, if it answer, the server is online, else its offline!?

if servers comedown for an update, all 3 servers come down at once (Game Server, Chat Server, Community Server)

as for booting up.
They put up authentications, then chat, then game, then community.

i'am looking for the code to connect on a (chat)server without the bebot, if the server will answer, the server is online, if it dont answer its offline..

any ideas?

Connecting to the chatserver involves the same procedure as connecting using BeBot or your game client.

All the code is located in Sources/AOChat.php

You will need to connect to the universe manager and authenticate and connect to the apropriate server.

This requires that you are not logged in on the account being used or you will be disconnected. After disconnecting you will need to wait for the gameserver to time out your connection before connecting to the next server.

with the new unlimited trials that are out you could setup an acct for us server checking and get it to check it :)

just have it cycling servers to see whats up
