That must be an old module, bebot 0.4 and newer bring a settings framework as core module, which doesn't support those inserts anymore - it got a different table structure. Besides, the table most likely now is called botname_settings, as bebot on default is using the botname as table prefix for all the bot-specific tables, only some tables which should be global among all hosted bots are without prefix.
I believe there is a 0.4 version of the nano module around.
