Access Control
« on: August 20, 2007, 10:32:01 pm »
Code: [Select]
$this -> bot -> accesscontrol -> create ('tell', 'command', 'ANONYMOUS');
Settings for AccessControl

DefaultLevel:  ANONYMOUS

But when non member tries to use command it writes "I only listen to members of this bot.". Whats wrong?

!settings
!command
are both useless commands in my bebot 0.4.1 version for some reason, not been modifyed in any way but upgrading the files from the main download site (FC updates on peoples/whois) and adding some timer and calc function :\
Also setting owner and shit doesnt change in the bot setup other than it has now reset me to "member" access on my "owner" and when I was "owner" it still didnt help as well as beeing "superadmin" didnt help. What am I doing wrong here ?

Are you using all the 0.4.x core files?

I suppose? Setup for guild bot and followed instructions on how to set it up and it said I was supposed to do that right away but even then I couldnt(settings/command) access them, then I ran into the whois/roster error due to fc moving site and downloaded some new items from this site to fix that but I suppose those mods are original fixes and should not affect the bot other than in the site lookup *sigh* Sorry for beeing such a nub lol

Is your owner entry in the format Nickname (with upper-case first, all else lower-case)? Only thing I can think of that causes those problems.

If you defined them in something like all lower-case, feel free to test the current version of core/Security.php, it should solve that problem.

core/Security.php, save as .php into the core/ directory.
