ok, another odd behavior for !online
« on: January 30, 2008, 07:52:54 pm »
What would cause me not to show up on the online listing when notify is on, I'm added, I'm listed as a member and everything, or is there a built in control to list only other people online and not yourself?

ok, it isn't just me, there are a few members in the org that are not being listed in the online.

the only thing I have not tried is leaving org and coming back in to see if it would cycle me back on the online list. it is just irritating that I technically have to do online to both bots ( the original bot is a budabot, and flaky as hell) in order to get an accurate representation of who is online. I have tried, what some people have suggested, to go from notify off, then remove myself as a member, and then put notify back on and then add me back as a member, with no luck...still doesn't list me as online, or show up in the chatlist.

have you tried restarting the bot
Last week i noticed a member wasn't on the online list, i restarted and he was there
Also try doing a roster update as that checks the members are on buddy list

ok, found the problem, org has over 1000 members, and my toon, and a few others were getting left off due to the buddylist limitation...is there not a way of having the roster go to a sql database, instead of the buddylist?

i have a module called AutoMember 1 of the things it can do is manage the buddylist by removing inactive members. T should be near top of list under custom modules. Can remember the version. Id link it but im only on a mobile phone
