Bot errors
« on: July 26, 2007, 10:08:48 pm »
Ok. My org name has a ' in it. So i get a syntax error.
Here it is.

MySQL error: (0) on query: SELECT DISTINCT org_rank_id, org_rank FROM whois WHERE org_name = 'Rock N' Roll' ORDER BY org_rank_id ASC
MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Roll' ORDER BY org_rank_id ASC' at line 1.

??

If all else fails, randomly hit it until it works.

looks like you entered username@localhost as username into MySQL.conf. Just remove @localhost and it should work.

The org name is missing proper escaping in that instance, r820 in SVN should fix this error.

Ah yes :-) sorted it thanks. Now,

fsockopen (): Unable to connect to items.vhabot.net:80
blah blah
In C:\bebot_v0.4.0\sources\bot.php on line 1075.

I think i just need a new site to connect to?

Nope, was having some really nasty problems with the server today.
Should be all fixed now, but it caused the central db to be down for a few hours.
