Bot worked flawlesly before they moved the servers.
After the servers were moved i applyed the "quickfix" and ended up having the bot geting disconnected every 5ish mins.

Read error: Connection reset by peer
Combined [2007-10-16 20:00:13] [CONN] [ERROR] Bot has disconnected. Reconnecting in 60 seconds.

I then upgraded to BeBot v0.4.2, but i keep geting the same thing there. Any ideas?

For some reasons your bot is losing connection to the chatservers.

Is any firewall or traffic shaper active? Maybe that breaks the connection.
Or are you logged in twice with the same character to the chatserver? The 2nd login will break the connection of the first.

I know iam not logged in twice or trying to login twice.
There is ofcourse some firewalls, but they havent been changed and it all worked nicely on the old ao chatservers.. so i think (and hope) its not them.

With the new chatservers, fc limits the chatserver connections to 20 (?) from an IP address. Maybe you hit this limit? On the old servers there where no such limitation afaik.

Only 1 connection from server.

I have noticed this is starting to happen with my bots also.. tonight I noticed the bots rebooting several times. I was on about 8 hours tonight and noticed it rebooted about 13 or 14 times.. and nothing has changed on my end. I am wondering if FC is changing things again. tomorrow I will go through and check everything here to make sure everything is fine, which I can already guess it is. Was going to look at the log file but it is almost 300megs long.. I think I will just delete it and let it rebuild with recent errors..

Those where the only 2 errors in the php error log. there were multiples of them but that was it.

My bot always drop with the "line 250" error msg

Outside of rare chat server problems on side of FC and when my internet went down I never had any unexplained disconnects from the FC server.

My guess would be some kind of network problems on your side, though that would be strange too.

ya I am just wondering if between me and FC was having a problem.. even though I wasn't having a problem while in game. kind of weird. it only did it a few more days like that and then stopped for no reason.. the last couple days I have not noticed it at all.. so IDK.
