Title: Rev. 231 memorysegmentation fault in 64bit linux?
Post by: Heffalomp on September 05, 2006, 11:18:38 pm
When I load the latest svn it loads fine until this happens:
Code: [Select]
[2006-09-05 21:02:58]   [MOD]   [LOAD]  Admin.php
[2006-09-05 21:02:58]   [LOGIN] [STATUS]        Connecting
[2006-09-05 21:02:58]   [LOGIN] [STATUS]        Authenticating
[2006-09-05 21:11:08]   [LOGIN] [STATUS]        Authenticating
Minnesegmentsfeil (Memorysegmentationfault)
Anny idea what this is caused by?
Runnign Ubuntu Linux AMD64 6.06 with php 5.1.2

Memory segmentation faults are usually due to hardware problems like RAM, however it's possible it could be linked to the 64bit OS. There are fixes for the "not expecting login" issue on 64bit PCs, maybe that will fix this as well?

I take note that its apparently failing to authenticate, so this could be the underlying trigger.
Make sure you try using the aokex module for php as 64 bit systems AND Ubuntu systems are known to have issues with the php based key generator.
