Another newb question
I'm getting this error when I run starbot.bat. I've checked & MySQL is running.
I have it set to run on a different port than the default, which I've opened on my router.
(WinXP, WCF disabled)

Restarting the computer got rid of that error, but now I get access denied - much less deterring than the previous error. I'll get it

Ahh simple error. I had @localhost on the username.
Lots of scrolling text in the cmd prompt, so I assume all is well
