non clickable links with !items
« on: February 11, 2007, 08:22:18 pm »
okay have a bot in our alliance that is running the latest version of svn .. but is running on a 4. mysql server...(the versoin of the sever can not be changed atm)

The problem we are having is when you do !items and it returns the results it will not allow the link to be clickable

Code: [Select]
To [Dwbot1]: !items composit
[Dwbot1]: 50 Results :: Click to View

The click to view is blue like it is suppose to be a link but when you click on it, it will not open up the information window..

There are no errors on the counsol either..

I had this running on my server with the latest mysql server and everything seemed to work..

Code: [Select]
Central Items Database
Server: items.vhabot.net
Database Version: 17.0.0_EP1 Live
Query: composit
Results: 50 / 50

so I am thinking it has to do with the older version of mysql..

MySQL never touches the items output or data when you are using the central database. So if it's something that is caused by the system it's something in the PHP install.

A good place to start would be to add debug statements outputting to file or console what the bot is attempting to output, then do the same for a bot that does not have the issue. Compare two identical queries and then see what is missing/added to the non working that breaks it ingame.
