Hello !

I was using the previous BeBot version and I've just installed 0.2.5 .

I'm getting the "Logging in AOChat: not expecting login" error.
I'm using PHP 4.4.2-1.1 with Debian.

Please note that I can't install packages on the server because I don't own this one. I only have an ftp access.

The related "Logging in AOChat: not expecting login" topic didn't help me.

Do you have a solution to make it work again ?

Hi. Version 0.2.5 working fine with php 5+, try to upgrade.

0.2.5 dates back to June and contains several known bugs as well as having issues with changes Funcom have made.

If the problem suddenly started occurring it could be an indication of your provider having upgraded PHP.
It would also help to know what version you where running before so i can check the actual code to make sure no changes affecting how keys are generated have taken place.

So I installed "Anarchy Online Chat Automaton v.0.2.10 - PHP 4.4.2-1.1"

and I still get the same error :

[LOGIN] [STATUS] Authenticating Using bcmath for login key generation [2006-12-15 11:14:12] [LOGIN] [RESULT] Error [2006-12-15 11:14:12] [LOGIN] [STATUS] Logging in AOChat: not expecting login.

I also have a warning :

Warning: set_time_limit(): Cannot set time limit in safe mode in AOChat.php on line 58

Arf !! let's hope I'll find a solution to this ! how annoying

Well, no idea what's wrong.
MySQL and PHP work perfectly.
My paths are correct.

Are there new required packages ?
What's this aokex thing people are talking about ? is it required ?

Do some searches here on aokex and you'll find a few posts on the problem with key generation on certain systems and php versions. There are a couple of fixes available.

My only guess then is that the php version was upgraded by your host

Since you didn't specify which version you ran before, i can't go back and verify that no changes has taken place in key generation which should affect you, although i cannot recall any.

If you still have the old bot installed, try copying the AOChat.php file from it to the new bot, and if that works, i would really like to get my hands on that copy to compare.

A note, although i don't think it should have any impact, i have not tested the bot under safe_mode which your php install is running.
