Title: First run issues
Post by: bmoscato on January 22, 2007, 04:48:25 pm
Hi All,

I'm having a difficulty running the 'start.php' command.  When I type 'php start.php' from the root directory of 'C:\BeBot' in the command window I just see the text that you see when you edit the file, the application never launches.

I've already set up the mySQL DB.

I'm using mySQL 5.0.27 for Windows, PHP 5.2.0 for Windows and BeBot 0.2.10.  This is all running on the Windows 2003 server platform.

Does anyone have a clue as to what might be causing this?  I've uninstalled and reinstalled PHP 3 times with hard boots in between.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Bryan

Have you tried something simple like
php -c php.ini start.php
inside the BeBot directory? Maybe with a full path to the php.exe? Also, have you tried the bebot version that comes with its own php? That at least should run.

Hey pusikas,

Thanks for the imput.  I got it running, but now when the bot starts I get the message that MSVCR71.DLL is missing.  I am now using the BeBot-php_v5.1.4 version of PHP instead of the other version I originally stated.

Fixed, I just downloaded and placed MSVCR71.DLL in the BeBot root directory.
