Total nOOb, items.sql?
« on: September 10, 2007, 08:13:15 am »
I did everything right (i think) to install bebot, then i got to the part in the install guide where i had to set up items database, it said...

"For the items database to work you must first upload it into the MySQL database from the "items.sql" file included in the zip archive.
To do this either upload it through a phpmyadmin interface (or similar) or directly connect to the MySQL server and type "source /path/items.sql". "

I didn't get an items.sql file in my zip archive, unless it is named something else? I did search these forums looking for the link to load just the items, but couldn't find it. The items with icons thread wouldn't let me link to the page. :/ Am I just missing something because I'm nOOb, plz help.
BTW, I'm using bebot v0.2.11 and mySQL 6.0 if that helps?

Two things: you should switch to Bebot 0.4.1, there are quite a lot of improvements in there. And there is no items.sql anymore in the default installs (from 0.2.9 on or something like that). The items module is using Vhab's central database now, so no local items table is needed.
