Some questions
« on: April 17, 2009, 11:25:08 pm »
I currently have ragebot (another php bot) running for my guild but there is a slight lack of certain features our guild is kind of needing.

So I took a look at this and there are some modules and such I see posted I would love to use but one question I have is the 0.62 version of bebot will work with Age of conan right? I keep seeing anarchy online being used instead of conan so it confuses me quite a bit.

Also, we are wanting some sort of module that basically allows us to do what our site does. It has a DKPS system where you sign up for a raid on the site and you get points for certain things like how long it is and if we kill the boss(es) and you use the DKPS to "purchase" tier items.

I don't know if they have access to the actual php files..so would there be some other way to do this if they don't?

We are also wanting a searchable database (there are some item/character databases online you can search on) so that you do like !item Beatific armband and it will either whisper or send in guild chat the results in a clickable window where you can click the various items and it tell you the mats required to make an item if you can? Maybe even have the names of the people who can make it?

Sorry for all the questions but I am curious :P thanks.

BeBot 0.6.2 fully supports Anarchy Online as well as Age of Conan. As it was written first for AO there still are still lot's of references to AO only. But as long as modules don't require private group support they should work flawlessly under AoC too.

As for your raid module there are several different raid modules lying around, best search around a bit.

The item database is a current problem, as the old version hasn't been maintained in quite some time. I think some items can't be added and shown, but not absolutely sure as I've never played AoC myself.

The item database is fairly up to date. You can even find some culture gear on it. If I were to guess I would say it is 95% complete.

Doing the !itemreg command supposedly does send a link to the Database owner.. Even though you will get an error. But how often, or if ever again, the database will be updated is unknown. I would recommend you PM Getrix from these forums and see if you can participate in his re-creation of the Database. You will actually get acknowledged in game and on a website for new item adds.. Its kinda fun.
