Post by: terryak on July 31, 2008, 01:27:57 pm
Get this message when trying to connect:

Warning: Could not connect to the AOC Chat server (proddm09.ams.ageofconan.com:7023): No connection could be made becaus
e the target machine actively refused it.
 in C:\bebot-hyborian\Sources\AOChat.php on line 204

Any ideas?
Changed ports on their chatservers or something?

Temporary fix:

Run netstat in cmd
find the ip for you game server/chat server

Open your Bot.php

Locate your server host name and exchange it with the ip your found using netstat.

Keep the port info

Ports seem unchanged, Noer.
New ip for Battlescar = 213.244.186.138
Dunno about the other servers.

If you know how to get the hostname instead of ip, i would appreciate it.

Looks the same to me?
Or am I being a dumbass? :/

So, only Ferox server updated?

Guessing you need new ip's for all the server, or something?

There seem to be no DNS Records for those ip-addresses. sorry :(

Btw in the character creation dialog you're already connected to the chat server :)
