Title: problem with !items
Post by: montauk on August 03, 2008, 03:27:30 am
When I do !items [itemname] the bot pulls up a list of items, some grey some properly colored. When i click one of the links it searches and returns:

To [Sbot]: !item 3242064
[Sbot]: 0 Results :: Click to View Results

This happens on all the items I search for.

I have no idea what happened. I havent used it in a few days and today when I tried I found this. I have redownloaded and the revision Bebot Hyborian 0.5.2 r19  and still no progress. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry for the delay. Try updating to the latest SVN revision and see if that corrects the issue, if not, please let us know so we can check further.

Not a problem. Thank you for the update. However, my problem still persists.

I have tried running the bot both normally and with the debug batch file. In either of these the bot does not report any errors in the dos prompt.

Unfortunately it seems the only information I have to give is the following:

[Guild] [Montauk]: !items pilgrim
[Guild] [Sbot]: 6 Results :: Click to View Results
To [Sbot]: !item 3242058
[Sbot]: 0 Results :: Click to View Results

If there is anything else I should do to provide a better diagnosis I will be glad to do so.

Thank you for the help :)

The exact same scenario works just fine for me.

So that is pretty weird and looks like it must be somewhat related to you alone
