I'm sure this must have been discussed earlier but I could not easily find any post on the subject. I've been hosting AoC BeBot on my own computer for a while and that works perfect but I am seriously considering to look into how to run it on an external server?
Do anyone do this already, and do anyone have ideas or suggestions on a host that would support this for a decent price? Security needs to be in place I presume since it has to include account information, but I presume it is possible?

All you need to run bebot on is a shell account with php 5.2 and mysql.
The important part is shell account, you cannot run bebot on a webserver. There are security checks inside to prevent this, as it would be a really bad thing security-wise.
You can use virtual server or similar offers, the bot requirements cpu and memory wise are pretty low.

Shell account sounds good, anyone doing this today, have experience or recommendations for a specific quality provider?

the smallest VDS should work fine
