Title: Bot not showing in the Friend/Guild list

I'm as many I presume running the bot on my play computer and it logs on with another character on my normal play account. For some reason the bot does not show up as an online friend/guild member in the list?

I can add it to friends and it will show as online, but why don't it show up in general just by it being logged in? Maybe there is an issues with the funcom servers or how they work, any comments on th is being normal or not?

I'd assume the 'friend' status is defined through the IRC channel mechanism, while the guild information is dealt with ingame. As the bot is only connecting to the IRC server, it doesn't affect any ingame information like guild status directly.

I guess that makes sense, so the only way to get it shown as online would be /friend <botname> then I guess... hmmm :)

yes that is correct, if you log into just the chat servers you will not show up on the guild list, and will only show up on the friends list.  This is why the bot does not show up on the guild list when viewing.
