anyone else have an issue with the !online module?
Whenever I use it never shows the full list of members that are online. For instance I just did it and it shows 9 members online when really there are 32 online. Any reason why it would not show a full list?

maybe because FC XML server is messing up and affecting the bots in a bad way, and people are being removed from the roster for the bot when the bot does its roster update. You can check if they have been removed from the roster by doing /tell {bot name} !security whois {user name} if it comes back as anonymous then they have been removed from the roster..
You can manually add them back to the roster by doing !member add {user name}
If the above is the case then this link is about it also http://bebot.link/0-5-x-customunofficial-modules/more-xml-errors/msg9715/?topicseen#new (http://bebot.link/0-5-x-customunofficial-modules/more-xml-errors/msg9715/?topicseen#new)

BeBot Hyborian does not use the XML stuff from Funcom since it is not available for AoC.
-
So now that funcom fixed it on their end I should be getting better results for the !online function correct? or will I need to delete users and let it automatically re add them?
Just curious if there is anything I need to do now. Or should I just disable this plugin as it still is having issues with people not showing up online. I'd really rather not have to add all members of the guild by hand.
-
Your members either have to talk in guild chat on that character or be added manually to the bot as mentioned above before the bot recognises them as guild members
-
That I understand, I'm just curious if I need to clear something because it is still not working via members talking in guild chat.
for instance right now I have a list of 8 people using the !online command and there are actually 26 people online, and I counted 5 that recently talked and do not show up in the !online command.

hmmm just did a
!rosterupdate
it now shows everyone who is online. Now my questions is... will I have to do this again for new people? or should I do a
!buddylist clear
and let the bot pick up everyone again?
-
It shouldn't be needed to do !rosterupdate again.
