Hello

Basically it's a small rewrite of Noers craftingclass module (thanks for the great work!), but I thought in any case it would be good to share.
Currently still most of our members are not registered on the forums and that drives me mad

This module queries the database on the existing members and their twinks and reminds those who still haven't registered to do that.

At the moment I'm using drupal so the SQL Query is specifically tailored to this database layout (profile_field), but I think it should also be possible to set it to your needs (as long as you know the Mainchars name in the forum

).

Hi, nice idea. But how does it work? does it also check in the forums database if somebody registered?
I dont see that in the module?
I a, using another database for my website (phpbb3)
And there you have to login.

I'm not sure if I understand the question. The key is the sql query in line 52 which basically spits out a list of all users known by the forum. I think this could be phpbb without a problem. The query would look something like "SELECT username AS name FROM phpbb.users". This list is always produced when someone logs into the the game.

Maybe I'll be able to make a version for phpbb in the next days

Hi, thnx for the answer, yup that was the question, But the bot needs to connect to the phpbb3 db somewhere to get the files, with an username and password.

Would be great if you take alook at this.

For me the bot is on the same server as the homepage... so I gave the right to select from the database of the website to the bot (user "bebot").

A remote connection would be pretty slow (and insecure, the MySQL protocol does not encrypt data).
