Poll

Would you use a module that allows players to post items they dont need so others can request them?

It's not for us
I can see how that could come in handy.
I'd try it out
It's not for us

Poll: Module for users to share items amongst themselves.
« on: September 10, 2008, 05:14:00 am »
Name: Bazaar

Reasoning: Constantly maintaining a guild bank with a large number of items is a strain on guild officers who's time could be spent doing other things. Perhaps, on occasion, even playing. This is not meant to replace the guild bank or guild items module, but to supplement it.

Implementation: Users can add items to the Bazaar with or without a price. The items then stay in the bazaar until removed by the user or the listing expires after a set amount of time. Once another player expresses interest in the item the shelf life is (optionally) shortened to only a few days. If only one player is interested the item is given/sold to them. If multiple people are then the item can be given away or sold at the poster's discretion, given to the player with the most raid points, raffled, or auctioned.

It's not a bank though. It's more of a way for people to distribute items to other guildies before they just put them up on the auction house. This way 2 people can share items without needed an officer/bot admin

Nope, this isn't for guild items. This is for an item play X has, and he wants to give guildies first dibbs on it before it goes off to the AH. In this model guild officers are not involved in a transaction, and the listings expire if nobody wants them. They are not guild items, the owner can do with them what they please. This is good for alliances with bots that share the same db.

BTW this is something I'm thinking of writing for my guild, not a module request. Just trying to get an idea of who else in the community would like it.
