Again sorry for problem with itemDB today. Moved to a new server. Hopefull for last time as its my new epic dedicated server :P

Most likely alot of ppl think they got "World's first" today. But this wasnt saved to the database, so everytime someone linked something the script didnt lookup in DB and thought everyone was linking new stuff.. ::)

Problem is solved now

I am getting this message from bot....

[...bot]: Setting Server for module Items does not exist.

i have followed the instructions to set it up with the files... maybe i misunderstood something.
do the files realy stay as .phps ?

the bot is now unable to operate with the command !items...

what could be wrong

And move:
Core_Items.phps -> <Botfolder>/core/aoc/Items.php
Modules_Items.phps -> <Botfolder>/modules/aoc/Items.php

RTFM ;P

Is this project still running? If so we can arrange that you get the database I have. It currently features 14,340 items and around 40,000 events with who found what items first and on what server etc...

Yes, im still running and maintaining this alternative DB and have some plans for future updates.
Would be interested to see whats in your DB, and maybe sync it up with this alternative one.

The biggest difference between mine and yours is that I require passkey handed out to bot owners to prevent abuse. But so for it doesnt that seem to be any problem as ppl just pm to get it.

Announce:

Noer announced that he would take down his DB as he isnt playing the game anymore (Hasnt for long time..)
I still havent decide to open up my itemDB to everyone without require ppl to ask me to get a passkey.
I may when i got time to recode some of the backend open for search/add item without passkey, but still require passkey for new functions i have planned ;)

Server that need GlobalItemSniffer sponsors:
EU: Crom, Fury, Blackscar, Skullcrusher, Hyrkania, Skullcrusher, Aquilonia
DE: Aries, Asgard
FR: Isthar, Ferox, Stygia
ES: Zingara, Indomitus

Anyone interested in putting up a global chat item sniffer?
I need to free some slots (Need it for dev bot's) and cant host for Crom and Fury anymore.

You need one free slot. And the bot will listen to Global but dont talkback to anyone exept OWNER.
Its not good solution to run it on a Guildbot..

Need a little help, having a problem where i get them message "Wrong checksum for botname" when ever i do a !items xxxx.   Verified passkey and server correct in !settings, re-copied items core and moduels items files, restart bot same issue.  Nothing changed since it was working a couple days ago except the necessary changes to AOChat.php after patch.  Thoughts?

I had that - turned out I was using uppercase characters (eg. BoABot) when it should be proper case (eg Boabot).  Might be the same for you?
