problems with re-rolled chars
« on: February 04, 2009, 11:49:02 pm »
Im using 0.6.1, and any chars re-rolled it doesnt get updated by roster and just deleted.

Devilbot3 [ROSTER]      [ADD]   Adding Willnukeyou from XML
Devilbot3 [ROSTER]      [ERROR] [Wriith ]is already a member.
Devilbot3 [ROSTER]      [ERASE] Erasing Willnukeyou as the character appears to have been rerolled. Old: 2147483647 New: 2227664487
Devilbot3 [SETTINGS]    [SAVED] LastRosterUpdate for module members set to 1233787323 as datatype int
Devilbot3 [ROSTER]      [UPDATE]        Roster update complete. Added 22 members and removed 1 of which 0 was rerolled.

From what i checked it doesnt update the ID and just removes it to re-rolled chars.
Is there anyone else having this issue?
I really dont have time to check DB's and find the issue, but ppl from org reported it to me few days ago, and from fast-at-work-investigations it looks like either i missed a setting or theres something wrong with it :D

Problem is, all re-rolled chars having this issue, even they are on FC site or not.
We have over 20ish chars in this situation, if you add them manualy with member add, they get removed when bot restart or roster runs again.
So basicly is wierdo but i'll try test a few more.

Yep same problem for me.

I've ended up promoting the player concerned to leader so bot will listen to them - but its only a stop gap till I can find a way of fixing as they do not appear on !online and as you said the bot deletes and readds them every time they log on :(

Could you do me a favour and submit a bug report at https://bugs.launchpad.net/bebot so i won't forget, and I'll try to have a look into it.

Any information on how to reproduce this issue is most welcome. Especially of interest is any patterns you have seen. If i understand this correctly this only occurs for rerolled characters?
