As the forum was cluttered with different modules, some working, some not and snippets of code, I took as much as I could and assembled here in a proper order to help new people using the bot.
Note: (modified) modules directly replace the standard Bebot modules, so read carefully the forum posts before using. Please be aware of items in italic (other module required / location of module etc).

Post just about complete, I need to find a complete news, add new news and custom timers (am trying to convert this to use Glara's module settings atm).
Post unlocked, so feel free to comment if I missed anything, credited someone wrong etc etc.

Oh god, I so wish this list would have been there when I started to gather modules for my bot. ;D
Maybe you can add a modified Bot.php to your initial post, one that has the necessary variable for the whois-cache, and the get/set_tablename/setting functions. People that get started with the bot easily add those in the wrong place (speaking from experience). With such a Bot.php, installing most modules boils down to downloading them and putting them into the correct directory. And mebbe delete a table, or add a few columns... ::) And perhaps add a warning that installing 20 modules at once kinda makes the bughunt harder if things go wrong.
Maybe add a comment to the Relay_GUILD.php that dropping the guest table is necessary. Or just a warning that comparing a new module's tables to any existing tables might be in order. I keep forgetting that as well.

Is that still current, or should the version in http://bebot.link/index.php/topic,622.0.html (http://bebot.link/index.php/topic,622.0.html) be used instead?
Edit: Forget it, while it looked newer, it did not work at all. Was missing the ailevel column that other modules relied on and other such things... also did not want to update my roster after dropping table.
