I wrote this with raid bots in mind as raidbots tend to attact alot of people. And lots of those people don't know they can change a bunch of their client settings to reduce the load on their computer in large groups, or are unwilling to.
Enter the Lag Module, v1.0.2 (http://zibby.isa-geek.net/bebot/Lag_Module/Lag-1.0.2.zip)
I attached a screenshot of the only thing it does. All the click links will enable/disable/configure options as advertised. (Screen shot shows a bug that I've fixed in the released version) ;D

help file. (yeah, I'm spamming them a bit, just figured since I'm writing them for my own bots, I may as well share.)

Bump!
My org used to use this mod until the member that ran the bot stopped logging.
I tried to use it in 4.3, but for some reason it does not want to work.
I have it with the default 'install' and our bot does not use any command prefix.
Can anyone help me, please?
-
Did you set the access right with commands?
-
im going to update module, gimme a day or 2 (will do while at work tomorrow :p)
-
I don't know if I set it to the right commands. And thanks, Temar, for helping me ;D
-
here he go, was easier than i though, its a simple module
-
I must be doing something wrong. I place it in the modules folder, load up the bot and type 'lag' in the guildchat and nothing happens. I do a tell of 'lag' to the bot and it tells me to type help.
I have also placed it in the custom/modules folder and get the same thing.
-
its because u have already added the command lag so this module wont set it as guest now
before it wasnt set by module and it uses ur default that is set in setting (usualy owner)
use !commands
to change requirements to use
-
wonderful! thanks!
